If you have an interest in having molds made overseas, call me for more information. My network of mold shops are capable of making class Â"AÂ", Â"BÂ", Â"CÂ", or prototype tooling. I do not build the dirt-cheap production molds; they are more problems than they are worth. The material used for the molds is depending on your specifications. My commission is small and I can do everything from helping you design the mold, importing it, and doing maintenance when required. You will receive a mold drawing for you review; complete with material list before you will be required make a deposit. You will also receive with the mold, all prints, computer files, and electrodes that were used to make the mold. With these it is as easy to maintain, modify, or repair these molds is if they were made here.
If you are not a mold maker you may not understand the difference between a class Â"AÂ", Â"BÂ", Â"CÂ", or prototype mold. All molds are not the same. I like to compare molds to automobiles. There is everything between the Rolls Royce and the Toyota Corolla and of course there is also the Yugo. Many times the least expensive mold will cost you the most in production. If you are not experienced in injection molds I can help you to decide which the best for your needs is. Take the time to read my descriptions for the different classifications of molds and the companies that manufacture them.
On average the mold cost is less than 50% than domestic prices, the more intricate and precision the more the savings. The average time required to build a mold is 30 to 45 days of course this depends on the mold. The average shipping time to Los Angeles via ocean freight is 30 days.
Thanks,
